Gain confidence in a wide range of different skills and techniques including colour mixing and painting with a limited palette, mark making, working with textures and grounds, mixed media techniques and more.
Along the way you will learn essentials like the different types of acrylic paints on the market, different ways to apply paints, extending drying times, tonal shifts, layering, blending, and creating hard edges.
Each week will focus on learning new techniques and then applying those techniques to create a small work from a set-up in the classroom, with a focus on imparting the knowledge you need to take your own acrylic paintings to the next level.
Materials: All surfaces, mediums, paints and general materials included.
